Privacy Policy — Advanced Inventory Tracker

Advanced Inventory Tracker ("the App") is published by Aneris Apps ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App handles and how. By using the App you agree to this policy.
Summary: Your inventory data stays on your device. We do not run servers that collect your inventory, we have no user accounts, and we do not show ads or use analytics or tracking. The limited exceptions — speech recognition, in-app purchases, and payment processing — are described below.
# Information stored on your device
The App stores the following locally on your device only, in encrypted on-device storage (AES-256). This information is never sent to us:
- Inventory content — item names, rooms, categories, serial/model numbers, estimated values, fragility, notes, and the lists you create.
- Photos and videos you attach to items or rooms.
- App settings — such as your selected currency, theme, and security preferences.
This data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all of this data. You can also delete individual items, photos, or lists at any time within the App.
# Permissions the App uses
- Camera — to take photos/videos of your items and rooms. Captured media is stored on your device only.
- Microphone — for the "Voice Add" and "Voice Edit" features (speech-to-text), described below.
- Photos / Media — to let you attach images and videos from your library to your inventory.
- Biometrics (fingerprint / face) — if you enable the optional app lock, authentication is performed by your device's operating system. We never receive or store your biometric data.
# Voice features and speech recognition
The App's "Voice Add" and "Voice Edit" features use your device's built-in speech-recognition service to convert speech to text. On most Android devices this service is provided by Google, and audio may be transmitted to and processed by that provider in order to return a transcription. That processing is governed by your device/voice provider's own privacy policy (e.g., Google: policies.google.com/privacy). The App itself does not retain the audio; only the resulting text you confirm is saved to your inventory on your device.
# In-app purchases
The App offers an optional one-time "Pro" upgrade.
- Payments are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never receive or store your payment card details. Google's handling of payment data is governed by Google's privacy policy.
- To unlock Pro and restore your purchase across reinstalls and devices, the App asks Google Play whether your Google account owns the Pro product. This check happens directly between the App and Google Play; we do not use any third-party purchase-management service, and we do not collect or store your purchase information on our own servers. We use this only to determine whether you have purchased Pro. We do not use it to identify you personally or for advertising.
# Data you choose to export or share
The App lets you export your inventory to a spreadsheet (XLSX) or your media to a ZIP archive, and to share these files using your device's share options. When you do this, the file goes wherever you choose to send it (email, cloud storage, another app). Once shared, that data is handled by the destination service you selected, not by us.
# What we do not do
- We do not collect, sell, or share your inventory or photos.
- We do not use advertising networks or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs.
- We do not require an account or collect your name, email, or contacts.
# Data security
Inventory data is encrypted on your device using AES-256. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but we apply reasonable measures to protect data handled by the App.
# Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
# Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and posting the revised policy at the same URL.
